Stewart’s Shops earned 1st place awards for the Best Strawberry Milk, the Best Mint Ice Cream and the Best Sherbet at the 2024 World Dairy Expo in Wisconsin.
All counted, Stewart’s milk, half & half, ice cream and sherbet finished in the top three in seven categories of the World Dairy Expo. This competition, which is open to dairy producers across the world, is the only competition of its kind in the United States.
“Stewart’s prides itself on making quality products and the World Dairy Expo recognition is a testament to the dedication of our dairy team and the 20 family farms who supply us with fresh, quality milk every day of the year,” said Chad Kiesow, chief operating officer of Stewart’s Shops.
Besides taking 1st place for Best Strawberry Milk, Stewart’s won 1st place for our Mint Cookie Crumble Ice Cream.
Stewart’s also won 1st place in the Sherbet category with a perfect score for our Mango Dragon Fruit Sherbet. This marked the third time since 2020 that Mango Dragon Fruit has taken top honors in the sherbet competition.
In the Cookies and Cookie Dough Ice Cream category, Stewart’s won 2nd place with our Campfire S’Mores Ice Cream, missing a 1st place award by 0.01 points.
In the Peanut Butter Ice Cream category, Stewart’s won 2nd place with our Peanut Butter Pandemonium Ice Cream. And our Bark in the Dark Ice Cream took home 2nd place in the Best Dark Chocolate Ice Cream category.
Stewart’s Shops French Vanilla Half & Half won 3rd place in the Dairy Creamer category.
These awards were announced one month after Stewart’s scored some big wins at the New York State Fair, where we won Best Milk in New York State for the third year in a row. Stewart’s also won 1st place for Best Chocolate Milk and Best Flavored Milk at the 2024 New York State Fair.
