We couldn’t be more excited to bring a brand-new shop to the West end of Oneonta, NY. This is our second shop located in the Town of Oneonta and will sit conveniently off the highway. This shop is located at 168 Oneida Street, Oneonta, NY 13820 off I-88 Exit 13. The development of this shop was unique because we constructed a new road connecting NYS Route 205 and NYS Route 7 which will serve as a benefit to commuters. The West Oneonta shop will be one of five Stewart’s Shops in Otsego County. The other four Shops are: #163 Richfield Springs, #232 Oneonta, #241 Cooperstown, and #351 Worcester.
Our Grand Opening celebration took place on Friday, November 17th at 11am!
In honor of this event, Stewart’s Shops donated $2,000 to the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club. The Oneonta Boys and Girls Club is an independent, non-profit organization that relies solely on community donations for funding. They provide a wide range of programs and activities for children in the community, operating year-round and offering opportunities for sports, fitness, arts, and educational outdoor trips.
Projects like these are part of our multimillion-dollar construction investment for 2023-2024. In 2023, we’ve been busy with plans for 6 rebuilds and 5 new-to-industry Stewart’s Shops! Looking ahead to 2024, our projections include 8 rebuilds and 4 new-to-industry shops.

Our West Oneonta Shop makes the perfect road trip stop with something for everyone! Enjoy your ice cream, coffee, drinks, or quick meals inside at our booths or outside on the new patio. The parking lot has ample room for parking to make your stop easy. Truly a one stop shop—you’ll find an expanded grocery selection, a beer cave, and gas with the addition of diesel and kerosene. And don’t forget to use the restrooms before you get back on the road!
