At Stewart’s Shops we are proud to support the communities that we serve.
Over the last five years we have built an outstanding relationship with St. Mary’s Hospital. Through their Capital Campaign in 2015, we donated $250,000 to kickstart their Rao Outpatient Pavilion.
In 2019 we partnered with St. Mary’s to help them with their new urgent care center. The urgent care is located inside one of our former stores; we donated the building to St. Mary’s so they could continue to provide support for patients. The urgent care center was the first in western Saratoga County.
More recently we donated $250,000 to the “Preserving our Promise” Campaign for St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, New York. This recent donation expands the St. Mary’s Rao Outpatient Pavilion.
The pavilion, which opened in 2015, has been dubbed as a “Medical Village” due to all it has to offer patients. Three primary care practices are all located under one roof. Patients can find behavioral health specialist, diabetes education and pastoral care at the village. On top of that, a retail pharmacy with a drive-thru is available for patients to pick up prescriptions post visit.
There is also easy access that connects patients to other buildings for lab work, medical imaging, urgent care, breast health or cancer medicine. Patients and employees can meditate and reflect in the new healing garden that has been planted as well.
The expansion will allow for the renovation and expansion of inpatient care facilities, assuring patients can continue to get the best care possible.
We are closer to you!
