The holidays are fast approaching, and Stewart’s Shops was recently able to help the Wilton Fire Department get an early start on Christmas with a donation of $500 to their Fill the Truck event. The funds helped the fire department set up a drive-through toy collection for the Saratoga County Toys for Tots Convoy, which is a part of the Capital Region Toys for Tots campaign.
Local community members were able to drive up and drop off their toys quickly and safely. The fire department also got a special visit from Santa Claus, who stopped by to give the children a socially distant wave! The event had a great turn out and the fire department was able to collect truckloads of toys that will help give local children a very special holiday come December.
