A formal gala planned by kids? Featuring dancing, candy, and an ice cream bar? Sounds like a sweet time!
Saratoga Automobile Museum held their very first Kids Gala on January 25th for kids and planned by kids! There’s was a DJ with dancing, a red carpet, photo booth, and lots of other fun activities in store for those who attend. And what would a Kids Gala be without some Stewart’s ice cream?
Stewart’s Shops is proud to support this event with an ice cream sundae bar, and we’re excited to see the kids’ hard work come to life! The children planned the gala from start to finish with gala committee meetings and made some fantastic decorations for the event.
[The planning process]
The proceeds from the gala will be going to a worthy cause: the museum’s distracted driving safety initiative. After all, who better to ask parents to drive safely than their own children?
The Saratoga Automobile Museum (SAM) is spearheading the effort to stop texting and cell phone use behind the wheel with education, training and campaigns to raise public awareness. The fight to end distracted driving starts with you. Make a commitment to drive phone-free today
Stewart’s Shops is proud to support this event and many others. This past week alone we were able to donate $79,076 to 69 organizations. Check out the listing below:
