Stewart’s Shops/Dake Family Give $100,000 to Unity House!

Stewart’s Shops/Dake Family has been supporting the Troy area since 1973, helping organizations like the Troy Foundry Theatre, Troy High, The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District, Girl/Boy Scouts and countless other organizations. Most recently, Stewart’s Shops is proud to support the Unity House.

Our gift of $100,000 will help to support programs at the Unity House for working families struggling with barriers to a successful life; whether it’s child care, or abusive situations, the Unity House helps to break those barriers.

For many years, the Stewart’s Holiday Match program has also contributed to the Unity House for their summer camp for kids which offers these children a chance to explore museums, hiking, swimming, and many other outdoor activities.

It is because of our supporting customers and staff, that we can give back to the communities in which we are located.

Stewart’s gives $7.5 million annually. $5 million of it comes from the Dake Family Foundations so it does not impact our Partners ESOP/Profit Sharing.
